Wireplay was a popular dial-up gaming service offered by British Telecom in the late nineties, it boasted a faster connection rate than a standard internet connection but had a higher hourly rate than regular dialup. It offered a European QW community seperate to the main, internet-based community which mainly used Barrysworld servers, but was more popular for games such as Doom, Duke Nukem 3d and MUD2.
