For the QuakeWorld server command, see Rpickup.

rpickup is an eggdrop (a mix of eggdrop scripts) created by Empezar. Its purpose is to make mix gathering on IRC easier, so people will not have to wait on servers for players to join. When the mix is "full", the mix admin (the player who started the mix) gets to choose what server they will play on. Once the server has been chosen, the server IP is sent to the rest of the mix, and the mix can begin.

Inactivity

Due to the lack of a permanent server hosting rpickup, rpickup has since the summer of 2006 been inactive. He has come up from time to time only to disappear after a few weeks due to servers moving or what not. In August/September 2007, rpickup has a scheduled return to the QuakeWorld scene.
