[edit] Introduction

The classic cup had 48 teams of which 16 got a bye in the first round. The teams losing the in the first round went to the amateur cup just to give them something to play for in the summer of 2004. The winners went on to play the teams that got a bye in the Pro department of the cup. In June the tournament started and the final was played on 23-08-2004.
